Google donated two million dollars to the National Applied Artificial Intelligence Consortium, which Miami Dade College leads, to take AI workforce education to thirty colleges around the country. Local 10 covered the announcement and asked me what it changes for the people already in those jobs.

That is the part organisations keep missing. They budget for the roles they might lose and not for the roles that stay and quietly become a different job, which is where the training actually has to go.
